Is Lily Lake trail in Rocky Mountain National Park?
Trail Description: The Lily Lake Loop in Rocky Mountain National Park is an excellent hike for the entire family. This level, fully accessible trail, circles around the lake and nearby wetlands for just over three-quarters of a mile, and is conveniently located near Estes Park.

Lily Lake is on the west side of Colorado Highway 7 about six miles south of Estes Park. It lies within Rocky Mountain National Park, but visitation is free. Plenty of parking is on the east side of the lake as well as in a large lot on the east side of the highway.
How long does it take to hike Deer Mountain?
Plan on two to three hours to get to the top, and an hour and a half to get back down. As an option to returning to the trailhead, the trail can be extended another four and a half miles down the back side to end the hike in Estes Park.
